I am not sure where to begin with my praise for this book。 There was something about Penny and Eli that was magic for me。 Penny's insecurities， rambling and lack of impulsive control were a perfect match-up for Eli's kindness， patience and desperation to be truly loved。 I lost count of the number of times I had to stop the audio because I was laughing so hard。 There are at least three scenes in this book that had me in hysterical laughter， including tears。 The narration was brilliant。 Kelsey Nav I am not sure where to begin with my praise for this book。 There was something about Penny and Eli that was magic for me。 Penny's insecurities， rambling and lack of impulsive control were a perfect match-up for Eli's kindness， patience and desperation to be truly loved。 I lost count of the number of times I had to stop the audio because I was laughing so hard。 There are at least three scenes in this book that had me in hysterical laughter， including tears。 The narration was brilliant。 Kelsey Navarro was the absolute perfect Penny and delivered both the funny and the emotion。 Another thing I liked about this book was the way it ended。 Satisfying for me and really made me want to know more about what is going on with the other characters in the book。 Looking forward to the rest of this series from Meghan Quinn。 。。。more

Thank you to Meghan Quinn for an ARC of this book， all opinions are my own。As a huge Meghan Quinn fan， I got so excited seeing this pop up on Kindle。 I'll be honest， it's not one of my top Quinn favorites and overall， I gave it a 3。75 ⭐。 A bit ridiculous， maybe， but let me explain。 Like all of her books， this story was burning up the pages！ There was sex， sex， oh and a little more sex。 Penny and Eli were insatiable when it came to one another and when they finally decided to take their relation Thank you to Meghan Quinn for an ARC of this book， all opinions are my own。As a huge Meghan Quinn fan， I got so excited seeing this pop up on Kindle。 I'll be honest， it's not one of my top Quinn favorites and overall， I gave it a 3。75 ⭐。 A bit ridiculous， maybe， but let me explain。 Like all of her books， this story was burning up the pages！ There was sex， sex， oh and a little more sex。 Penny and Eli were insatiable when it came to one another and when they finally decided to take their relationship to the next level。 Always a fun read for the sexy times。 There were times when I kept thinking， "is that humanly possible？" and "was I like that during my pregnancy？" or "damn， how do you find time in your day to breathe？" But hey， good smut， is good smut！Characters: We'll start with Eli， he's sexy， masculine， has a great sense of humor and a swoony compassionate side。 His main weaknesses lie in the fact that he grew up in a less than stellar environment and experiences losses at a young age that have caused him to be closed off in the relationship department。 He's so good to Penny and it was upsetting to me that she couldn't tell by his actions how much he truly loved her。 This leads me to Penny and the reason I gave the book 3。75 stars instead of higher。 Penny is a hilarious， rambling， sweet girl。。。 until she isn't。 She was always understanding of Eli， until she is pregnant and towards the end became vindictive and petty。 I didn't like that she did little things to try and annoy him， when really communication is key。 I get the feeling of wanting to just annoy someone， but her behaviors were a bit much and had me disliking her for a small portion of the book。 She redeemed herself， I'm happy to say， but I just couldn't forget about some of her actions。 Story: I love the best friend's sister trope and then throw in a surprise baby and you have a recipe for gold。 I really liked the way this story was written because we were able to watch a one night stand grow into a friendship， then into a love and finally into a family。 Overall， I really enjoyed the book。 I always do with Meghan's books， I just wish Penny hadn't taken a turn for the mean crazy。 Do I recommend this book？ YES！ Of course I do。 Will I continue to fangirl over Meghan？ DUH， watch me go。 。。。more

**Audio Review**Let me start by saying that if you listen to a Meghan Quinn audiobook while out in public you better be ready to make a fool out of yourself with lots of laugh out （really） loud moments with a few snorts and coughs。 I swear people will look at you like you just escaped from a looney bin。 Meghan's books are my favorite to listen to anytime of day。 I especially love listening to them while I'm getting ready for work in the mornings， or while I am out running errands， or simply brow **Audio Review**Let me start by saying that if you listen to a Meghan Quinn audiobook while out in public you better be ready to make a fool out of yourself with lots of laugh out （really） loud moments with a few snorts and coughs。 I swear people will look at you like you just escaped from a looney bin。 Meghan's books are my favorite to listen to anytime of day。 I especially love listening to them while I'm getting ready for work in the mornings， or while I am out running errands， or simply browsing the stores。 They truly just bring me such joy and laughter。 Those Three Little Words was no different。 It was filled with so many hilarious moments， but it was also so heartwarming and tender。 Narrated by Kelsey Navarro （who is becoming one of my favorites） and Teddy Hamilton （love him）， Those Three Little Words ， which can be read as a standalone is the second book in The Vancouver Agitators Series。 I have not read the first book， Kiss & Don't Tell （Pacey and Winnie's story） so the characters were all new to me。 [Side Note: I will be starting Kiss & Don't Tell today]。 Not only did I love the main characters Penny and Eli， but I also loved Taters， Holmes， Blakely， Winnie （and even Pacey）。 The relationships， friendships， meddling made this book even more fantastic。 This book was full of so many of my favorite tropes: Sports RomanceSurprise PregnancyWorkplace RomanceBrother's Best Friend/Teammate Best Friend/Teammate's Sister Forced Proximity One Night StandPenny Lawes handles the social media for the Vancouver Agitators。 She is funny， quirky， and full of sass。 Oh - she is also OFF LIMITS to any of her brother， Pacey's teammates， but Eli Hornsby has had a little thing for Penny since he first saw her two years ago， but out of respect to his best friend and teammate Pacey he has never made a move on her。 When a "chance" encounter at a bar on Valentine's Day （and Eli's birthday） brings these two together they decide to indulge in some consenting adult play time for one night only。 I mean， nobody else needs to know， right？ These two were in for a ride。 I really loved Eli。 He had a playboy reputation that followed him， but he was one of the most honest guys。 My heart ached for Eli。 The man had serious abandonment issues， but he was working through them。 [Another Side Note: I was not a fan of whoever Eli's therapist was]。 Tators was better at giving him advice。 I do love how committed Eli was to the entire situation with Penny， but at the same time I can see how this was confusing to Penny， who was already going through a lot of hormonal and emotional changes。 Penny - Penny - Penny - she did a complete 180 from that first night with Eli。 I love how real her mood swings were throughout her pregnancy。 The pranks， the cravings， the emotions， the irrational tactics were so accurate。 I loved that we got to experience it all with her。 Poor Eli just went along with it all even if the man was confused and irritated。 These two were a perfect match。 They were both extremely patient with trying to understand one another。 I really love that we got to experience their relationship growth （their fears， their emotions， their love）。 - Some of my favorite parts:**Penny breaking the news to Eli and Pacey。** **The unexpected visit from Penny's parents。****Eli's first appointment with Penny。****Penny going out for donuts at 2 a。m。****Anal Plug Convo** and so much more。I'm going to listen to Pacey and Winnie's story and then jump right into a re-listen of this one right after。 。。。more

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chic’s Ramblings and ReviewsA sweet and fun forbidden romance。I’m a huge fan of this author and I loved the previous book in this series so when I read the blurb for this; I couldn’t wait to read it。Eli Hornsby is a hockey player and gets lots of attention from women and if his team took a vote， he’d be voted as least likely to settle down。 His teammates are his family so when his best friend tells him that his sister Penny is off limits， he honours his wis Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chic’s Ramblings and ReviewsA sweet and fun forbidden romance。I’m a huge fan of this author and I loved the previous book in this series so when I read the blurb for this; I couldn’t wait to read it。Eli Hornsby is a hockey player and gets lots of attention from women and if his team took a vote， he’d be voted as least likely to settle down。 His teammates are his family so when his best friend tells him that his sister Penny is off limits， he honours his wishes。Penny Lawes works with her brother’s hockey team and is responsible for their social media。 She loves her job and looking at gorgeous hockey players every day is definitely a bonus。 Her brother is very protective and has told the players to stay away from her which limits her opportunities for hook ups and as she doesn’t have much experience with men， she reluctantly agrees to go out with her BFF on Valentine’s Day。Eli and Penny end up together in a bar and as Valentine’s Day is also his birthday， she agrees to stay for one more drink。 One thing leads to another and at the end of the night， she goes home with him。 A month later， Penny discovers she’s pregnant and doesn’t know how to tell Eli or her brother so she decides to tell them together。 This proves to be the worst decision she’s ever made as Pacey is furious and after taking his anger out on his best friend， he insists he move in with Penny to help her with anything she needs during the pregnancy。Penny and Eli both agree their relationship will be nothing but platonic but when you combine a mutual attraction with pregnancy hormones and being forced into living together， it gets harder and harder to stop their feelings turning into more than just future co parents。 While Penny is happy to express her feelings， Eli is more reluctant and a miscommunication leaves Penny feeling hurt。 Will Eli be able to escape the demons of his past so he can have the future he deserves filled with love？I loved this story。 Penny and Eli were such loveable characters and I think her pregnancy was the most realistic I’ve ever read。 There was humour， heat， sweetness and bromance and it was great to catch up with the characters from the previous book。 I’d definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next in the series。 。。。more

Oh。 My。 Goodness！！！！！ If I could give this more than 5 stars I 100% would。 Man， did Meghan Quinn crush this book。 I just finished and I have all the feels！ To be honest I’m already wanting to read it again。 I fell for these two SO hard and loved their journey。 Their chemistry was beyond sizzling and， like all her books， I was laughing so hard I was crying！！ This is definitely a must read。 Holy cow， it’s going to be hard to pick my favorite Meghan book this year！ 🍏🏒👞🪴
